Malcolm Steele, born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had a unique upbringing that laid the foundation for his diverse skill set and passion for helping others heal through the power of plants. From an early age, Malcolm was exposed to the world of landscaping, as he worked alongside his father in their family business. This experience not only taught him the value of hard work but also instilled in him a deep appreciation for nature's beauty.
After completing his primary education, Malcolm pursued higher education at Jackson State University, where he acquired a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship and management. During his time at university, he developed a strong drive to explore innovative solutions and keen business acumen.
Seeking adventure and a chance to serve his country, Malcolm made the courageous decision to enlist in the United States Navy. For seven years, he dedicated himself to his military service, exemplifying discipline, teamwork, and resilience in his various assignments. Additionally, Malcolm found purpose and fulfillment outside the military, coaching youth league football and positively impacting the lives of young athletes.
Malcolm's thirst for knowledge and his desire to make a difference led him to pursue further education at Everglades University. Here, he realized his passion for public health and discovered his fascination with alternative medicine and functional nutrition. Malcolm successfully earned a Master's degree in public health with a concentration in Alternative Medicine and Functional Nutrition, enabling him to explore the powerful connection between food, health, and healing.
The challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic inspired Malcolm to embark on a new venture: establishing an urban farm. Initially, the farm served as a therapeutic outlet for him, allowing him to cope with the grief of losing his father in 2018. Immersed in this green oasis, Malcolm found solace and discovered the healing potential that plants offer.
Combining his extensive knowledge of plants and farming techniques with his expertise in nutrition and alternative medicine, Malcolm Steele set out on a mission to help others heal. He recognized the profound impact that a connection with nature and a holistic approach to wellbeing could have on individuals seeking healing and balance.
Today, Malcolm not only tends to his urban farm, but he also dedicates his time to sharing his knowledge and supporting others on their healing journeys. Through educational initiatives, workshops, and consultations, he empowers people to take control of their health by incorporating plant-based practices and functional nutrition principles.
Malcolm Steele's story is a testament to the power of resilience, personal growth, and the profound impact of connecting with nature. His journey from the fields of landscaping to the fields of alternative medicine and plant-based healing serves as an inspiration for those striving to find their purpose and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
